Evelyn Oatley, originally Nita Ward is strangled by serial killer Gordon Cummins aka The Blackout Ripper at the age of 35 in Wardour Street, Soho, London, Greater London, United Kingdom.

Oatley's throat had been cut and she was mutilated by a can opener.
