Princess of Iran Leila Pahlavi commits suicide by an overdose of Seconal and cocaine at the age of 31 in Leonard Hotel, 11-17 Seymour Street, Marylebone, London, Greater London, United Kingdom. Pahlavi was found in bed, her body emaciated by years of anorexia, bulimia, and food intolerances. Pahlavi had more than five times the lethal dose of Seconal in her system along with a nonlethal amount of cocaine. She spent much of her last year staying at the Leonard Hotel paying £450 a night for her favourite suite.
