Less than a second after the detonation the north of the city was destroyed and 35.000 people were killed. Among the deaths were 6.200 out of the 7.500 employees of the Mitsubishi Munitions plant and 24.000 others (including 2.000 Koreans) who worked in other war plants and factories in the city, as well as 150 Japanese soldiers.

Nureyev was born on a Trans-Siberian train while his mother was travelling to Vladivostok where his father was stationed in the Red Army.
Monday 10th of December 2018 (x) — Serial killer Mikhail Popkov is convicted of 56 murders and sentenced to a second life sentence.
In January 2015 Popkov was already sentenced to life in prison for 22 murders and two attempted murders. In July 2020 Popkov confessed to more killings, bringing the total number of admitted victims to 83.
