Tuesday 12th of October 1982 (x) — Victim of Larry Eyler aka The Leather Boy Killer Craig Townsend is handcuffed, severely beaten up and left in a coma by Larry Eyler aka The Leather Boy Killer.
Townsend had escaped from the hospital before detectives completed their investigation of the unprovoked assault.
Friday 30th of September 1983 (x) — Serial killer Larry Eyler is arrested by Trooper Kenneth Buehrle.
Earlier that night Eyler picked up Darl Hayward hitchhiking on the Ontario Street ramp to the Kennedy and Dan Ryan Expressways in Chicago with the intention to kill him.
