32-year-old serial killer Eric Edgar Cooke aka The Australian Nightmare aka The Nedlands Monster is arrested in Rookwood Street, Mount Pleasant, Perth, Western Australia, Australia. Cooke came to pick up a rifle used in the murder of Shirley McLeod hidden in a Geraldton Wax bush. He confessed to several crimes, including eight murders and 14 attempted murders.
