Irish Republican Army volunteer Joseph O'Sullivan is executed by hanging by John Ellis at the age of 25 in Wandsworth Prison, Wandsworth, London, Greater London, United Kingdom. O'Sullivan shot dead Field Marshal Sir Henry Wilson on his doorstep at 36 Eaton Place in London on 22 June 1922 along with fellow IRA volunteer Reginald Dunne. |
