Triple murderer Gary Lynn Sterling is executed by lethal injection at the age of 38 in Huntsville Prison, 815 12th Street, Huntsville, Texas, United States. In two separate trials Sterling pled guilty to the 1988 murders of William and Leroy Porter, and was sentenced to life in prison in both cases. Sterling's last meal request was for chicken fried steak, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, French fries, pecan pie, sweet tea and a vanilla milkshake.
