Actress Susan Cabot born as Harriet Shapiro is beaten to death with a weightlifting bar by her 22-year-old dwarf son Timothy Scott Roman at the age of 59 in Encino, California, United States. Roman, who suffered from psychological problems, was subsequently charged with involuntary manslaughter and received a three-year suspended sentence.
