Musician and painter Herman Hermanus Brood commits suicide by jumping from the roof at the age of 55 in Hilton Hotel, Apollolaan 138, Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands. Brood left a note stating "Party on. I'll be seeing you."
