Civil engineer, financier, entrepreneur and industrialist Ivar Kreuger aka The Match King commits suicide by a shot through the head at the age of 52 in Avenue Victor Emanuel III, VIIIe, Paris, Île-de-France, France. Kreuger's supposed suicide note read "I have made such a mess of things that I believe this to be the most satisfactory solution for everybody concerned." But it is more likely that Kreuger was murdered.
