Jones' execution was delayed by about a half an hour because prison staff were unable to find suitable veins in his hands and arms. Executions are usually performed with an IV in each arm. In Jones' case only one IV was used and it was inserted in his left thigh.

Serial killer Yang Xinhai aka The Monster Killer is executed by a shot in the back of the head at the age of 36 in Luohe, Henan, China. Yang was found guilty of 67 murders and 23 rapes. "When I killed people I had a desire. This inspired me to kill more. I don't care whether they deserve to live or not. It is none of my concern... I have no desire to be part of society. Society is not my concern."
