Last King of Iraq Faisal II born as Al-Malik Fayṣal Ath-thānī is executed by a firing squad led by Captain Abdul Sattar Sabaa Al-Ibousi at the age of 23 in Rihab Palace, Baġdād, Muḥāfaẓät Baġdād, Iraq. Also machine-gunned were Crown Prince 'Abd al-Ilah, his wife Crown Princess Hiyam, his mother Princess Nafeesa, Faisal's aunt Princess Abadiya and several servants.
