38-year-old journalist and leader of the Rote Armee Fraktion Ulrike Meinhof is arrested in Walsroder Straße 11, Langenhagen, Niedersachsen, Germany. To make sure they have captured the feared terrorist they make an X-ray of Meinhof's head, revealing a metal clip that was left behind during a brain-operation 10 years earlier.
