Doctor and serial killer Gerd Wenzinger aka The Havel Ripper commits suicide hanging in his cell at the age of 54 in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Wenzinger was facing charges for killing 13 prostitutes in Berlin and Stuttgart, and sexually torturing many more in Germany and Brazil.
