Actor Clark William Gable aka The King of Hollywood dies of coronary thrombosis at the age of 59 in Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital, 1300 N Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, California, United States. Ten days before Gable suffered a severe heart attack. There was speculation that Gable's physically demanding role in'The Misfits' contributed to his sudden death soon after filming was completed.
