The dead were: 35-year-old Susan Godfrey, his neighbours Roland and Sheila Mason, 51-year-old Kenneth Clements, Roger Brereton, George White, his neighbour Abdul Rahman Khan, his mother Dorothy Ryan, Francis Butler, Marcus Barnard, 67-year-old Douglas Wainwright, 51-year-old Eric Vardy, 22-year-old Sandra Hill, Jack and Myrtle Gibbs and 34-year-old Ian Playle.

Sharon Rina Lopatka, originally Sharon Denburg is tortured and strangled by murderer Robert Frederick Glass aka Slowhand at the age of 35 in Lenoir, North Carolina, United States.

Lopatka met Glass in an internet chatroom and agreed to be killed in a sado-masochistic sex encounter.
