Peter Pan is shot dead by serial killer Richard Ramirez aka The Night Stalker at the age of 66 in Lake Merced, San Francisco, California, United States.

Ramirez then beat and sexually assaulted 62-year-old Barbara Pan before he shot her in the head and left her for dead.
