The SLA dead were: Nancy Ling Perry aka Fahizah, Angela Atwood aka General Gelina, Camilla Hall aka Gabi, Willie Wolfe aka Kahjoh, Donald DeFreeze aka Cinque and Patricia Soltysik aka Mizmoon. All of the bodies but one were found huddled in a crawl space under the house which had burned down around them.

Start of the trial against 27-year-old American hero and mass murderer William Calley in United States Disciplinary Barracks, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, United States. Testimony revealed that Calley had ordered the men of 1st Platoon, Company C, 1st Battalion, 20th Infantry of the 23rd Infantry Division to kill everyone in the village.
