He received life sentences for each of the two charges to be served consecutively rather than concurrently.

Mass murderer Joseph Garcia is executed by hanging by William Marwood at the age of 21 in Usk Prison, Usk, Monmouthshire, United Kingdom. Garcia stabbed 40-year-old William Watkins and his 44-year-old wife Elizabeth to death and hacked 8-year-old Charlotte, 5-year-old Frederick and 4-year-old Alice to death with an axe as they lay asleep.
