Sinthasomphone reported the incident to the police and Dahmer was charged with sexual assault and enticing a child for immoral purposes. He spent one week in jail before getting released on bail. On 30 January 1990 Dahmer was found guilty but sentencing wouldn’t take place for another four months.

45-year-old mathematician and serial bomber Theodore Kaczynski aka The Unabomber places bomb #20, a booby trap disguised as a piece of lumber behind the CAAMS computer store in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. Store owner Gary Wright is badly injured when he picks up the package. Based on a witness description a widely spread sketch of a man in a hooded sweatshirt wearing aviator glasses was made up.
