White-supremacist serial killer Joseph Paul Franklin born as James Clayton Vaughn aka The Racist Killer is executed by lethal injection at the age of 63 in Potosi Correctional Center, Bonne Terre, Missouri, United States. Franklin's execution was the first lethal injection in Missouri to use only Pentobarbital instead of the conventional three drug cocktail.
