KZ-Aufseherin Emma Zimmer born as Emma Anne Mezel is executed by hanging at the age of 60 in Zuchthaus Hameln, Hameln, Sachsen, Germany. Zimmer was known for her extreme sadistic behaviour. In late 1943 she was discharged from Auschwitz-Birkenau KZ due to alcohol problems.
