32-year-old serial poisoner Christa Lehmann, originally Christa Ambros aka The Mass Poisoner of Worms is sentenced to life-imprisonment in Mainz, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. Imprisoned in Neuwied, Lehmann tried to commit suicide several times. She was released from prison after 23 years and changed her name. Her last words to a journalist after sentencing were "Ich mag Beerdigungen."
