Reeves was disoriented by 'Pilot's Vertigo' and actually flying upside down when he tried to take the plane up to avoid a thunderstorm. Instead the plane plunged with its nose into a tree. Reeves' 30-year-old business partner and manager Dean Manuel also died in the crash.
