Yvonne Pearson is beaten to death by serial killer Peter Sutcliffe aka The Yorkshire Ripper at the age of 22 in Arthington Street, Bradford, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom.

Sutcliffe repeatedly bludgeoned Pearson about the head with a ball-pein hammer then jumped on her chest before stuffing horse-hair into her mouth from a discarded sofa under which he hid her body. Her body was not found until 26 March.
