The artificial respiration for 22-year-old Karen Ann Quinlan aka The Coma Girl is stopped in St Clare's Hospital, 25 Pocono Road, Denville, New Jersey, United States. Quinlan lived in a persistent vegetative state until her death from complications from pneumonia on 11 June 1985.
