Furniture designer, Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament sympathiser and art vandal James Gore-Graham dies from suffering 90% burns at the age of 37 in Queen Mary's Hospital, Roehampton, London, Greater London, United Kingdom. The day before Gore-Graham was caught running in flames having set fire to David Mach's 'Polaris' sculpture that was made of about 6.000 car tyres outside the Royal Festival Hall.
