45-year-old serial killer Fritz Haarmann aka Der Hannover Werwolf is arrested after a minor fight with Kurt Fromm in Hauptbahnhof, Hannover, Niedersachsen, Germany. Haarmann's apartment was searched and the walls were found to be heavily bloodstained. He tried to explain this as a by-product of his illegal trade as a butcher.
