Joseph Maggio is throatcut and beaten to death by serial killer The Axeman of New Orleans at the age of 42 in corner of Upperline and Magnolia Streets, New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. Maggio's 36-year-old wife Catherine was throatcut as well, her head almost severed. The Maggio's were the Axeman's first victims. |
