50-year-old sculptor Camille Claudel is admitted in Asile d'Aliénés de Montdevergues, Montfavet, Avignon, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. Claudel's certificate of admittance reported that she suffered "from a systematic persecution delirium mostly based upon false interpretations and imagination". Claudel spent the last 30 years of her life at the asylum.
