Murderer Joseph Roger O’Dell is executed by lethal injection at the age of 54 in Greensville Correctional Center, Jarratt, Virginia, United States. Hours before his execution O'Dell married law-student Lori Urs aka Lori St John. After his death O'Dell's body was shipped to Palermo, Italy where he was buried as a local hero, presumed innocent.
