Gangster Clyde Chestnut Barrow is shot dead with 23-year-old Bonnie Parker by a posse at the age of 25 in Bienville Parish, Louisiana, United States. Barrow and Parker appeared in daylight in an automobile and were shot by a posse of four Texas officers, Frank Hamer, B.M. 'Manny' Gault, Bob Alcorn and Ted Hinton and two Louisiana officers, Henderson Jordan and Prentiss Morel Oakley. Barrow had 17 entrance wounds in his body.
