281 Die in passenger and goods train collision in Igandu, Dodoma, Dodoma, Tanzania. The driver stopped the train near the summit of the hill to inspect and adjust the braking system and climbed back into the cab. When he started the train the brakes totally failed, causing the train to roll with great velocity straight back down the hill, crashing after passing two stations into a slow moving goods train.
