Spree killer Éric Borel commits suicide by a shot through the head at the age of 17 in Solliès-Pont, Provence, France. Borel first shot his stepfather Yves Bichet, his 11-year-old half-brother Jean-Yves Bichet. Then he went to the neighbouring village of Cuers and shot dead 12 people with a .22 rifle.
