Brunhilde Masser is stabbed and strangled by serial killer Jack Unterweger aka Jack the Writer aka Der Häfenpoet aka The Pug Dumper at the age of 39 in Graz, Steiermark, Austria.

Masser's body was found on 5 January 1991.
