Race car driver and TV personality Jessi Jessica M. Combs aka the fastest woman on four wheels dies after crashing a jet-powered high-speed race car at the speed of 841,338 km/ph at the age of 39 in Alvord Desert, Oregon, United States. Combs was attempting to better her four-wheel land speed record. Combs's car crashed due to "a mechanical failure of the front wheel" which was "most likely caused from striking an object on the desert".
