Sea Captain, slaver and pirate Sir Francis Drake aka el Draque dies of dysentery at the age of 56 in Portobelo, Colón, Panama. Before dying, Drake asked to be dressed in his full armour. He was buried at sea in a lead coffin, near Portobelo. Divers continue to search for the coffin.
