Germania Harpin is strangled and raped by serial killer Earle Leonard Nelson aka The Gorilla Murderer at the age of 29 in Kansas City, Missouri, United States.

Nelson also strangled Harpin's 8-month-old son Robert, his first and only murder of a male victim and of a young child.
