Corder's body was taken back to the courtroom at Shire Hall where it was slit open along the abdomen to expose the muscles, over 5,000 people queued to see it. Corder's skin was tanned by surgeon George Creed and used to bind an account of the murder.

Criminal Roger Bontems is executed by the Guillotine by André Olbrecht at the age of 36 in Prison de la Santé, 42 Rue de la Santé, XIVe, Montparnasse, Paris, Île-de-France, France. With the execution of Claude Buffet, seven minutes after Bontems, these were the last executions in Paris.
