Serial killer Jack Johann Unterweger aka Jack the Writer aka Der Häfenpoet aka The Pug Dumper commits suicide by hanging in his cell at the age of 44 in Justizanstalt Graz-Karlau, Graz, Steiermark, Austria. Unterweger was sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole for the murders of 9 prostitutes earlier that day.
