The dead were his 52-year-old twin brother David Bird, 60-year-old family solicitor Kevin Commons, 43-year-old fellow taxi driver Darren Rewcastle, 75-year-old Susan Hughes, 71-year-old Kenneth Fishburn, 68-year-old Jennifer Jackson, 67-year-old James Jackson, 65-year-old Isaac Dixon, 31-year-old Garry Purdham, 23-year-old James 'Jamie' Clark, 64-year-old Michael Pike and 66-year-old Jane Robinson.

David William Hilligiest is abducted and strangled by serial killer Dean Corll aka The Candyman at the age of 14 in 3200 Mangum Road, Houston, Texas, United States.

Hilligiest was last seen alongside his friend Gregory Malley Winkle climbing into a white van.
