Mabel Bell is attacked by serial killer Richard Ramirez aka The Night Stalker at the age of 83 in Monrovia, California, United States.

Bell and her invalid 81-year-old sister Florence Lang were found by 78-year-old gardener Carlos Valenzuela on 1 June 1985. Bell died of massive body trauma on 15 July 1985. Lang survived but could no longer speak and was hospitalized indefinitely.
