74-year-old actress and singer Marlene Dietrich, originally Maria Magdalena Von Losch falls off the stage and breaks her thigh during a performance in Her Majesty's Theatre, 107 Quay Street, Haymarket, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It marked the end of Dietrich's show business career.
