King Dipendra of Nepal born as Dipendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev dies of his injuries after shooting himself in the head at the age of 30 in Shree Birendra Military Hospital, Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal. Dipendra was proclaimed King in his hospital bed and reigned from 1 to 3 June 2001.
