Planespotter and journalist Levent Salim Bergkotte stabs to death 37-year-old Alastair Whewell, pilot of the Piper Cherokee PA-28 they were flying, and shuts down the engine of the sports plane to make it crash at the age of 33 in Bariloche, Patagonia, Argentina. Bergkotte left a farewell letter to his wife in his hotel room. |
