Minister of Labour Robert Boulin commits suicide by drowning at the age of 59 in Étang Rompu, Yvelines, Rambouillet, Île-de-France, France. Boulin's final note read: "I have decided to drown myself in a lake in the forest of Rambouillet, where I enjoyed riding horseback."
