American Airlines Flight 11 departed from Logan Airport at 7:59 a.m. en route to Los Angeles with a crew of 11 and 76 passengers, not including five hijackers. The hijackers flew the plane into the northern facade of the North Tower at 8:46 a.m. The four other hijackers were 22-year-old Abdulaziz al-Omari, 28-year-old Wail al-Shehri, 22-year-old Waleed al-Shehri and 25-year-old Satam al-Suqami.

Tina Marie Risico is abducted, raped and tortured by serial killer Christopher Wilder aka The Beauty Queen Killer at the age of 16 in Del Amo Fashion Center, Torrance, California, United States.

After 9 days of torture Risico was taken to Logan Airport in Boston where Wilder bought her a ticket to Los Angeles.
