Quinlan became unconscious after arriving home from a party where she had consumed diazepam, dextropropoxyphene and Gin and Tonics. She was taken to a hospital where she lapsed into a persistent vegetative state for ten years. Around the time of the party Quinlan went on a radical diet in order to fit into a dress that she had bought.

Anne-Marie Pascal is murdered by serial killer Henri Désiré Landru aka Le Barbe-Bleue de Gambais at the age of 38 in l'Ermitage, Allée des Tilleuls et la Roserale, Gambais, Île-de-France, France.

In his black notebook, Landru marked "17h 15'." On 4 June 1918 Landru sold Pascal's only set of false teeth for 15,- Francs.
