Oswald considered Walker a "fascist" and the leader of a "fascist organization". Walker was sitting at a desk in his dining room when Oswald fired at him from less than 30m away. The bullet struck the wooden frame of the window which deflected its path. Walker was injured in the forearm by fragments.

Jack Cecil Drummond is presumably shot dead by presumed murderer Gaston Dominici at the age of 61 in La Grand'Terre, Lurs, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France.

Also killed were his 44-year-old wife Anne Drummond and their 10-year-old daughter Elizabeth.
