Baronet and murderer Jock John Henry Delves Broughton aka Sir Murder commits suicide by an overdose of morphine tablets at the age of 59 in Adelphi Hotel, Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom. The inquest recorded a verdict of suicide while the balance of Broughton's mind was disturbed.
